We warmly welcomed our new public health students to the Canadian University of Bangladesh with an inspiring orientation and cultural evening. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Vice Chairman, Chowdhury Jafarullah Sharafat, who shared his invaluable insights, motivating our future public health minds.

Our honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. M. Zahirul Haque also joined virtually with us to welcome the new public health students at Canadian University of Bangladesh. We were honored to hear words of encouragement from Prof. Dr. Gias U. Ahsan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, along with S. M. G. Faruk, Registrar (In-Charge) and Colonel Md Bashirul Haque (Retd), Head of Logistics. We also had the privilege of hearing from Prof. Mohammad Qayyum Ahmed, Professor from Health Policy, who welcomed the freshers into this transformative journey. Our invited guests were Prof. Dr. Nasir Uddin Sir from Texas University, USA.

Faculty from the Public Health Department, Dr. Rokshana Rabeya Associate Professor & Co-Chair, Lecturer Dr. Nawshin Ahmed and Adjunct Faculty and chairman prof Dr. Ahmed Hussain Sir also joined virtually to encourage and welcome the newly enrolled students of the department of public health.

Last but not the least, public health personnel of recent era Dr. Fahad Hussain who already has become the inspiration for many students of present days gave his amazing speech for the newcomers who are going to pursue their Bachelor and Masters in the department of Public Health.
