Mr. Mohammad Sunzad Sheikh, Assistant Professor & Chairman of the Department of Law, along with all faculty members, also attended the exhibition. Mr. Sheikh highlighted the significance of legal education in advocating for workers' rights and encouraged students to actively participate in shaping a more equitable society.
Under the guidance of their course instructor, Ms. Sumaiya Islam Mrittika, the students delved into pressing issues such as child labour, the rights of mine workers, tea plantation laborers, cleaning staff, brickfield workers, and workplace safety standards prevalent in the country. This exhibition not only showcased the students' academic endeavors but also their commitment to advocating for the rights and dignity of workers. By bringing attention to these critical issues, the Department of Law at CUB continues to inspire future legal professionals to champion social justice and labour rights.
