Short Biography

Fariha Basher is a Lecturer in Business at the Canadian University of Bangladesh, where she has taught since October 2022. She previously served as a faculty member at the Central University of Science and Technology and as a Teaching Assistant at the Bangladesh University of Professionals, where she also completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Studies (2017-2021) and her Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management (2021-2022). She is currently pursuing a PhD in Management at INTI International University, Malaysia.

Her research centers on human resource management, employee engagement, sustainable HRM practices, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in workplace and organizational behavior. She has authored or co-authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and several book chapters, published in outlets including the Jahangirnagar University Journal of Management Research, the International Journal of Business and Technopreneurship, and the International Journal of Scientific Engineering and Science, and has presented her work at international conferences in Dhaka, London, and Malaysia. She also serves as a reviewer for several academic journals, including the Journal of Business Horizons and Management and the Asian Journal of Economics, Business and Accounting.

In the classroom, Ms. Basher teaches courses spanning human resource management, marketing, management, and finance, and mentors students on academic and career development.
