Message from the Dean

Dear Community Members,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. As the Dean of the School of Science & Engineering at the Canadian University of Bangladesh, I am delighted to extend warm greetings to our vibrant and diverse community.

Our university is not just a center for academic excellence; it is an integral part of the broader community that we call home. It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that I reach out to you today, inviting you to join hands with us in fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship.

The School of Science & Engineering is committed to not only providing cutting-edge education and research opportunities but also to actively contributing to the well-being and progress of our surrounding community. We believe that the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and resources between the university and the community is vital for collective growth and prosperity. Under the School of Science & Engineering we currently offer BS EEE, BS CSE and BS SMS. In addition to this we are expecting to launch BS Artificial Intelligence & Robotics and BS Data Analytics in Summer’24.

In the coming months, we plan to initiate several community engagement programs, workshops, and events that aim to bridge the gap between academia and the broader community. We value your input and welcome any suggestions or ideas you may have for collaborations that can positively impact both our students and the community at large.

I am pleased to inform you about the proposed "EduTech Consortium (ETC)," an innovative industry-academia collaboration center at the Canadian University of Bangladesh. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic research and industry application, fostering a culture of innovation, knowledge exchange, and collaborative research within our academic community.

To kick-start this initiative, we are organizing two daylong promotional workshops:

1. Workshop Title: "3D Printing with Ultimaker Cura" - Proposed to be held on February 10, 2024.
2. Workshop Title: "Freelancing & Outsourcing" - Proposed to be held on February 17, 2024.

I encourage you to stay connected with us through our upcoming events, seminars, and outreach initiatives. Your presence and participation are integral to the success of these endeavors. If you have any thoughts, questions, or if there are specific areas where you believe our expertise could contribute to community development, please feel free to reach out. We are here to listen, learn, and collaborate.

Together, we can create a thriving environment that not only nurtures academic excellence but also actively contributes to the betterment of our community.
Thank you for being an essential part of the Canadian University of Bangladesh's journey.

Warm regards,
