On Friday 8th of November, 2024, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Canadian University of Bangladesh arranged a workshop on AutoCAD and Sketch up based industrial designing for the EEE students. The resource person of the workshop was Engineer Torun Kumar who taught our students on the hands on design of HV/MV/LV sub-stations, various room layouts, GA drawing of HT, LT and PFI panels.

The workshop was chaired by Dr. Ifat Al Baqee, Associate Professor and Chairman of the department of EEE. He thanked Eng. Torun Kumar to provide his valuable time to show our students the modern industrial skills which are desirable by the employers.

The department of EEE will continue to arrange such workshops to enrich the skills of out students so that they can make significant contributions in their respective job sectors and towards the development of modern Bangladesh.

In the end, our chair of the workshop Dr. Ifat Al Baqee presented Eng. Torun Kumar a token of appreciation and also thanked the attendee students. Assistant Professor and coordinator of the department of EEE, Mr. Niaz Morshedul Haque was also present during the workshop.
