On November 3, 2024, the preliminary rounds of the 3rd CUB Intra-Department Moot Court Competition took place at the Canadian University of Bangladesh’s Permanent Campus in Purbachal. Organized by the Department of Law, CUB, this event featured eight teams competing in rigorous mooting sessions, each presenting as applicants and respondents in both the morning and afternoon rounds. The Executive Body of the CUB Law & Moot Club (CUBLMC), under the guidance of Adviser Mashrur Rahman Mahin, coordinated the event, creating a professional and enriching experience for all involved.

A panel of distinguished adjudicators was invited to evaluate the teams impartially and provide insightful feedback. They commended the dedication and skill displayed, especially by the first-time mooters. Students and faculty members attending the event enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and the opportunity to explore CUB’s Permanent Campus.

At the conclusion of the day, Mohammad Sunzad Sheikh, Head of the Department of Law, announced the four semi-finalist teams who will advance to the next rounds on November 4, 2024, at the City Campus. Tokens of appreciation were also presented to the adjudicators for their valuable contributions.
